A man calls 9-1-1 to report a fire in his apartment building. He’s found dead in the apartment with a fire extinguisher at his feet - but there’s no sign of a fire. Mulder gets Skinner to assign him the case except there’s a problem: another agent, Alex Krycek, opened the same case two hours earlier. Now Mulder must work with this eager agent to figure out what’s killing people, while Scully helps at a distance.
Fire! Maybe Cecil and Phoebe are back for more?
