Several people in a small town are found dead covered in cockroaches. Mulder thinks the cockroaches are to blame somehow, like maybe they’re a genetic experiment or alien bug robots. Scully offers medical explanations for the deaths from the comfort of home, while Mulder works with an entomologist to try and get to the bottom of it.
