After a series of murders that happen in closed rooms with no known point of entry where the victim’s livers are torn out, Scully’s old friend from the Academy asks for her help on the case. She tells Mulder about it, and he pulls out an X-Files about a series of similar murders… from 60 years ago. And another series from 30 years ago. Mulder is convinced it’s one perpetrator, and the other FBI guys mock him for being “out there”. Because, you know…
It might be aliens.
