Despite pressure to drop the case, Catherine Black works to support a woman whose father, a powerful Seattle businessman, has been raping her for 23 years. But as the wheels of justice finally begin to move, the woman’s father and her younger sister disappear and Frank Black is called in to help Catherine and the police find them before it is too late.
