Depressed about his impending divorce, Skinner hooks up with a woman at a hotel, only to wake up and find her murdered. Skinner doesn't remember anything, but Mulder is convinced he didn’t kill the woman and is determined to prove it, even as Skinner tells Mulder and Scully to leave it alone.
