In a small town, teenagers mess around with witchcraft in the woods, getting one of them killed. Mulder and Scully are called in to investigate the death and its ties to local rumors about occult activity. Scully thinks people are taking local folklore too seriously, but mysterious things keep happening and Mulder is convinced something supernatural is going on.
